The McGrath Foundation was co-founded by Jane McGrath and her husband Glenn after Jane’s diagnosis and initial recovery from breast cancer. The foundation aims to raise funds for breast care nurses and provide greater public awareness of breast cancer, particularly amongst younger women.

Malouf Pharmacies were proud to support the McGrath Foundation in 2009 and again in 2010.

During the month of May Malouf Pharmacies 16 stores helped raise funds for this worthy cause through the sale of Blackmores Multi products and by hosting a Pink Party for customers and invited guests.

Malouf Pharmacies Merthyr Village, Ian Malouf, Managing Director of Malouf Pharmacies and Nick Malouf, Pharmacist, presented Australian Cricketer Glenn McGrath and co-founder of The McGrath Foundation, with a huge printed cheque for the monies raised to date, being over $17,000.00.

 In addition, over $2,000.00 was raised on the day of the presentation; therefore a grand total of $19,424.75 was donated to support The McGrath Foundation in 2009.
