The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the world's largest charitable supporter of type 1 diabetes research. JDRF was founded in 1970 in the US and 1982 in Australia by a group of determined volunteers. Internationally, JDRF has been involved in every major type 1 diabetes breakthrough of the last three decades.

JDRF-funded researchers have driven the advancement of day-to-day disease management tools and accelerated the pace of research. Throughout all local and international activities JDRF's mission remains constant - to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

Over the last 7 years Malouf Pharmacies have raised on average $15,000 per year in Queensland for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

For the month of October, all Malouf Pharmacies stores located in Queensland help raise funds for this worthy cause by hosting a month of in store JDRF activities, culminating in a Walk to Cure Party for customers and the local community. 

All monies raised go directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation charity.
