National Diabetes Services Scheme
Malouf Pharmacies provides a reliable supply of products, information and professional advice on diabetes and effective self-management.

Home Medication Review
Malouf Pharmacies has a team of accredited Pharmacists who are able to conduct Home Medication Reviews (HMR's). A HMR is conducted in the comfort of your own home. The Pharmacist reviews your current medication and compiles a report for the General Practitioner (GP).
HMR's are a referral based service by a General Practitioner.

An initial free consultation is offered prior to an "at-home" diagnostic test with results reviewed by a Sleep Practitioner and communicated to you via a Pharmacist, all within a week. BowelScreen
BowelScreen Australia is a pharmacy-based bowel cancer awareness, education and screening program for the Australian community using a clinically proven, sensitive and reliable immunochemical faecal occult blood test. BowelScreen Australia TM is a collaboration between Bowel Cancer Australia and the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, with the support of Enterix Australia (manufacturer and accredited pathology laboratory for the InSure immunochemical test). Annual bowel cancer screening is recommended for both men and women - With no personal or family history of bowel cancer or polyps. The aim of screening is to find any polyps or to find cancer early when it is easier to treat and cure. People experiencing symptoms or who have a personal/family history of bowel cancer or polyps are advised to discuss appropriate screening for the disease with their GP. Please note: People who have received a free screening test kit from the Australian Government are encouraged to participate in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.
The Government Program only applies to people as they turn 50, 55 and 65 between January 2011 and December 2014 and does not include provision for annual screening. The free kit should arrive in the mail around the date of your birthday. Please call 1800 118 868 if you have an enquiry about the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.
People who are ineligible for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program can undergo annual screening through BowelScreen Australia™ by visiting their local participating community pharmacy.
